For 2014 the car was renamed simply the 300 SRT, carrying VIN codes CAF for "SRT Premium" and CAX for "SRT Core." It kept the 470-hp, 470-lb-ft 6.4 HEMI with a five-speed automatic, paddle shifters, and AutoStick, sat half an inch lower than other 300 models, and was offered in eight colors. A new SRT Satin Vapor Edition package cost $2,300 on the 300 SRT for the year.1,2,3

No 300 SRT-specific production count was published for 2014. FCA's own December 2015 sales report gives 53,382 US sales for the whole Chrysler 300 nameplate in calendar 2014, drawn from that later report's own prior-year comparison column rather than a contemporary 2014 release, but still treated by this record strictly as context covering every 300 trim rather than the SRT specifically.4

A buyer's-guide database gives four prices for the year, still under the older "SRT8" style naming despite the car's own 2014 rename to simply SRT: $48,900 MSRP and $47,268 dealer invoice for the SRT8 RWD, and $44,900 MSRP and $43,588 dealer invoice for the SRT8 Core RWD. The 6.4-liter, 392-cu-in SRT HEMI, naturally aspirated and rated 470 hp and 470 lb-ft, or 351 kW and 637 N-m, is documented as available on both the SRT and SRT Core, paired with the five-speed automatic, paddle shifters, and AutoStick as the sole standard transmission.5,1

A detailed options and packages list is documented from Chrysler's own feature-availability sheet: the SRT Satin Vapor Edition package at $2,300; a panoramic dual-pane power sunroof; Goodyear F1 Supercar 245/45ZR20 three-season tires, with Eagle RS-A2 all-season tires standard; a Black Painted Roof Package, described as Sporty Black and limited to the Premium model; a Black Chrome Group with Black Vapor Chrome wheels, black chrome grille surrounds, a lower-fascia surround, a rear accent bar, and a black daylight opening, also Premium-only; a Leather Interior Group, Premium-only; an SRT Option Group I with Harman Kardon audio, offered on both Core and Premium; and a SafetyTec Group, again Premium-only.3,6

Specification detail is extensive: the 6.4-liter HEMI with Fuel Saver Technology at 392 cu in, 6,417 cc, 4.09-by-3.72-inch bore and stroke, and 10.9:1 compression, rated 470 hp at 6,000 rpm and 470 lb-ft at 4,300 rpm under SAE J2723, built at the Saltillo Engine Plant in Mexico; the W5A580 five-speed automatic with a 3.06 final drive and Getrag limited-slip differential; a 120.2-inch wheelbase, 200.33-inch length, and 4,365-lb curb weight split 54/46; a 19.4-gallon fuel tank with EPA figures of 14 city and 23 highway mpg, as printed in this year's own specification sheet; and Brembo four-piston fixed-caliper brakes on 20-by-9.0-inch fully forged aluminum wheels. The sheet dates the model's introduction to summer 2013 as a 2014 model, built at Brampton.7

Eight exterior colors are documented for the year. Interior trim splits by model: the Core carries black high-performance cloth sport seats as standard, not offered on the Premium at all, while the Premium offers black Nappa leather with Axis perforated suede inserts and silver accent stitching, the same treatment in Radar Red over black, or a Sepia and black Laguna premium full-leather trim. VIN positions 5 through 7 confirm CAF for SRT Premium and CAX for SRT Core.1,6,2

Coverage: Partial — researched sections are shown; missing ones are not yet sourced. Researched through 2026-09-22.

Every figure is labeled with how sure we are. Reported means a manufacturer, registry, or reference figure we cite but have not reconciled against factory records ourselves. Disputed means credible sources disagree and both are shown. Rows are separately scoped; don't add them together unless the note says they make up a total.

Chrysler published no 300C SRT8 build count. The 2014 model-year worldwide figure comes from one enthusiast compilation (wkbible.com, last updated 2018-11-01) that names no underlying record, so it is reported, not verified. Searched 2026-09-29: Chrysler and Stellantis media, Wikipedia, MoparInsiders, allpar, LX and Charger forum threads (the forums could not be read and cannot be cited). A Chrysler build record or a registry count naming its record would confirm it.
