This record's own dek describes 2013 as the year the SHO gains a piano-black mesh grille, fender vents, and an Alcantara wheel in the Performance Package, with the EcoBoost V6 staying at 365 hp. This record's own overview states that in Ford's 2013 Taurus brochure the SHO, Equipment Group 400A, keeps the 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6, now listed at 365 hp at 5,500 rpm and 350 lb-ft across 1,500 to 5,000 rpm on premium fuel, paired with a paddle-shift six-speed automatic and all-wheel drive, EPA-rated at 17 mpg city, 25 highway, and 20 combined.

This record's own overview states that the exterior now carries a piano-black mesh grille, piano-black mirrors, HID headlamps, and SHO side fender vents. This record's own identification section documents that same content in more detail: piano-black mesh grille, piano-black power mirrors, LED park lamps with piano-black bezels, a rear spoiler, and SHO-branded side fender vents as Equipment Group 400A exterior content, the only year in this record's own identification section to carry an exterior-content entry.

This record's own overview states that the SHO Performance Package adds performance friction brake pads, sport-calibrated steering, a Sport Mode for AdvanceTrac, a 3.16:1 final drive, an Alcantara-trimmed steering wheel, and 20-inch machined-and-painted wheels with P245/45R20 summer tires, the same package's own options-section entry noting it is not combinable with adaptive cruise control. This record's own prices section documents an MSRP of $39,300 against a $36,254 dealer invoice, a spread of $3,046, with a curb weight of 4,341 lb documented in this record's own specifications.1

This record's own options section documents Equipment Group 402A, adding heated and cooled front seats, active park assist, auto high beams with rain-sensing wipers, BLIS with cross-traffic alert, a heated steering wheel, heated rear outboard seats, a rear-window sunshade, HD Radio, and Sony audio with 12 speakers. A power moonroof, multicontour front seats with Active Motion, and adaptive cruise control are each documented as requiring 402A, with adaptive cruise additionally not combinable with the Performance Package.

This record's own key facts state that Green Gem Metallic and Deep Impact Blue Metallic appear in the SHO color list for the year, among seven exterior colors documented without production counts: those two alongside White Platinum Metallic Tri-coat and Ruby Red Metallic Tinted Clearcoat at additional charge, Ingot Silver Metallic, Sterling Gray Metallic, and Tuxedo Black Metallic. Two interior trims are documented, both Charcoal Black leather with perforated Miko Suede inserts and embroidered SHO front-seat graphics, one in Charcoal Black and one in Mayan Gray.

This record's own specifications section documents the 3.16:1 Performance Package final drive ratio, a 112.9-inch wheelbase, a 202.9-inch overall length, and P255/45R19 low-rolling-resistance all-season tires on 19-inch Luster Nickel-painted wheels standard on the SHO, alongside the curb weight and EPA figures already noted elsewhere in this narrative. This record's own performance and conflicts sections are both empty for the year, and its unpublished leads document a claimed 2013 SHO production breakdown by color and package, split US, Canada, and export, posted on the EcoBoost Performance Forum, with the breakdown itself not read.

Every figure is labeled with how sure we are. Reported means a manufacturer, registry, or reference figure we cite but have not reconciled against factory records ourselves. Disputed means credible sources disagree and both are shown. Rows are separately scoped; don't add them together unless the note says they make up a total.

Ford Show Parts lists its certificate of authenticity, which it says carries model-year production totals, for 2010 through 2013 only (https://fordshowparts.com/products/m-0266-sho, read 2026-09-29). Owner-typed 2013 readings of that certificate exist on a forum (see unpublishedLeads); no Ford, plant or other citable publication of a 2013 total was found. Searched 2026-09-29: shoforum.com and Blue Oval Forums threads (the latter keeps its figures in a PDF attachment that could not be read) and web searches on Ford, Flat Rock and Chicago Assembly SHO counts; ecoboostownerforums.com returned HTTP 403. A scan of the certificate or a Ford statement of the total would close it.
