Duster volume fell by more than half for 1975: 118,710 base Dusters and 1,421 Duster 360s for a total of 120,131, with the 360 by this point costing more than the Road Runner at $3,979. The 1975 brochure describes the Duster 360 with its 360 V8, TorqueFlite automatic, power front disc brakes, heavy-duty suspension and shocks, a front sway bar, E70x14 tires on 5.5-inch wheels, an 8 1/4-inch axle, dual exhaust except in California, and its own body side tape stripes; the brochure's own transmission chart shows no manual gearbox offered for the 360 at all. The Duster line added a Duster Custom trim level that year, while the Gold Duster and Space Duster Pak packages continued.1

This record's coverage of 1975 has an explicit, acknowledged gap: no factory data book, order guide, price list, or AMA specification sheet for the year was located, so paint codes, trim codes, engine horsepower and torque ratings, and option prices all remain open rather than filled in. Two figures circulating outside the sources actually consulted are flagged without being adopted: an unattributed Wikipedia bound of "fewer than 2,000" 1975 Dusters with the 360, which is consistent with but not independent confirmation of the 1,421 figure, and a valiant.org essay's claim of 267,525 for "the Valiant line" in 1975, whose scope is not defined in that source and which names no underlying source of its own.1

The only 1975 price on record is the Duster 360's own $3,979, with the basis behind that figure not specified by the source that states it. TorqueFlite was standard on the Duster 360 and optional in the Duster; the column-shift three-speed manual was standard in the Duster but not offered in the Duster 360; a floor-shift three-speed was optional in the Duster, likewise absent from the 360; and a four-speed manual was optional in the Duster and Duster Custom but again not available with the 360.1

Options for the year included the Space Duster Pak fold-down rear seat, the Gold Duster package, a manually operated sun roof, a Fuel Pacer system paired with the light package, automatic speed control, dual sport-styled mirrors, Rallye road wheels with raised-white-letter or steel-belted radial tires, and a Light Duty Towing Package requiring TorqueFlite and front disc brakes for trailers up to 2,000 lb loaded. Interior choices ran from an all-vinyl split-back bench in gold, green, blue, parchment, or black shown as standard, to a cloth-and-vinyl bench with a center armrest or all-vinyl bucket seats in black or white-on-black.

On the same 108-inch wheelbase, the Duster coupe measured 196.1 inches long, 71.0 inches wide, and 53.2 inches tall, with a 59.1-inch front and 55.6-inch rear tread. The Duster 360 specifically rode on 5 1/2 x 14 wheels with E70 bias-belted tires and an 8 1/4-inch rear axle. Sixteen exterior colors were shown in the brochure, including Powder Blue, Lucerne Blue Metallic, Rallye Red, Vintage Red Metallic, Spinnaker White, and Formal Black, though the source consulted did not return paint code letters for any of them, part of the same 1975 documentation gap noted above.
